OLIVER: Search by City, Library and
Shelfmark
Use the form below to locate a particular shelfmark or to list the shelfmarks available based on city or library selections. Enter nothing in the "Shelfmark" box to get all the manuscripts from the city or library chosen, or enter a search string to limit the search results. The search string can be a text fragment (e.g., “Lat”) or a numeric fragment. Searching for "50" will bring up "50," "150," and "500." Hint: if you have only a number for a shelfmark and don't know what text might accompany it, just enter the number.
OLIVER: Search for EMML Manuscripts
The microfilms from the Ethiopian Manuscript Microfilm Library (EMML) are usually identified simply by the "EMML number" assigned to each manuscript as it was filmed. City and library names are less useful as finding aids for these manuscripts, and many do not have formal shelfmarks. Simply enter the EMML number (without the prefix “EMML”) in the box below.
