Images from HMML's Millennium Club and Legacy Society trip to Ethiopia:
In late February a group of *HMML Millennium Club and Legacy Society members visited the historic monasteries and libraries where HMML and its Ethiopian partners have preserved almost 10,000 Ethiopian manuscripts—including the oldest known copies of the Ethiopic Bible. They experienced Ethiopia’s stunning landscapes, spectacular wildlife, and unforgettable peoples with Fr. Columba and local guide, Daniel Tesfaye.
HMML travelers Bob Muschewske and Leaetta Hough have shared their spectacular photographs with us. They retain sole copyright of the images provided here as downloadable PDFs. File sizes are about 30 MB each. Right click the "Download File" links to view your browser's downloading options.
*HMML Millennium Club members donate $1,000 or more annually. Legacy Society members have left provisions for HMML in their will or estate. Please contact Erin Lonergan at email@example.com for more information.
The Hill Museum & Manuscript Library in Collegeville, Minnesota, preserves handwritten manuscripts around the world and makes the digital images freely available in an effort to understand and protect the history of humanity.
