The Saint John's Bible gallery at HMML has been reset with original pages from Wisdom Books and Prophets as of November 15, 2013. A selection of pages from the project are on display at HMML year-round and visitors are always welcome.

As part of Archival Awareness Week the Maltese Library and Information Association (MaLIA), The Library of the University of Malta, The Department of Library, Information, and Archive Sciences of the University of Malta, and the National Archives of Malta are co-organizing the public lecture of Dr. Theresa Vann.
She will present "Digital Projects and the Future of Malta Historical Archives" on November 26, 2013 from the Library of the University of Malta.
Dr. Vann is well-known for her pioneering work on large-scale digitization of archival collections from Malta. For over 15 years she worked as The Joseph S. Micallef Curator in the Malta Study Center at the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library and also regularly contributed as a visiting professor within the courses of the Library, Information, and Archive Sciences Department of the University of Malta.
Members of HMML’s Millennium Club and Legacy Society gathered at Mill City Museum in Minneapolis in September 2013 for the a lecture given by Princeton University professor and renowned Syriac scholar, Dr. Jack Tannous. He presented “Why Manuscripts Matter: And How HMML is Revolutionizing Scholarship.” Tannous has been a leading advocate for the scholarly possibilities opened by digital technology and a tireless promoter of HMML’s work.
